Who am I?
Hello! Thanks for finding my web-page. My name is JAMES GODBER and below I give you some information about myself and my teaching and business experience and qualifications.
- Since April 1992 I have taught English on a one-to-one basis to over 300 students who have lived with my wife, Wendy, and myself during their stay. You can find out what some of these students have said about their homestay when you visit the Testimonials page. You can even e-mail them direct.
- In March 1998 I gained the ARELS Certificate in Teaching One-to-One. As such I was one of the first people to gain this certificate.
- In 1991 I gained the Royal Society of Arts Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Adults CTEFLA. I did this at International House, London.
- In 1970 I gained a B.A. Honours Degree in Business Studies.
- In 1974 I gained the Diploma in Marketing.
- Before I became an English teacher I had nearly 20 years experience in business, (7 years in purchasing and 13 years in both consumer and industrial marketing).
