To date over 300 students have stayed with us to learn English on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis. Quite a few of them have even returned for a second or even a third visit!

This is potentially very dangerous for me, as I have ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL over what they may say about me, our house, the food they ate or my teaching!

"The lessons were funny, however James tried to nag me, with phonetics, tenses and other English stuff (becauuase...) - Joke.

"Before I arrived James was prepared to meet a strange student. Yes, he had never had an Italian student living in Germany before. But as I arrived and we started talking James was a bit more concerned and said 'What are you doing here? Your English is OK!'
"Fortunately we found out that there are many things I need to improve while speaking English (especially the use of the right tense!).
"James cooked delicious meals (very recommendable are avocado sandwitches as well as Indian and Thai food!!)
"Most lessons took place in the garden since we had wonderful weather.
"I have learnt not only general and business English, but also many useful expressions.
